802.11n WLAN performance optimization

Ech sin graat am gaang main WLAN ze optimiséiren.

Ech hun eng FB7390 an well am 2.4 GHz den 802.11n mat 40 MHz Bandbreet = 300 Mib/s voll ausnotzen. Als Verschlesselung huelen ech WPA+WPA2, obwuehl daat keng Roll spillt well ech och schon ouni Verschlesselung getest hun.

Ech kommen bei esoe enger Verbindung allerdengs nemmen ob #40 Mib/s.

Ech hun anm IP-Phone-Forum gefrot an do bis elo keng Solutioun font.

Wann ech e puer Tests ähnlechen Konfiguratiounen (802.11n am 2.4 GHz Bereich, 300 Mib/s) hätt, wéist ech ob meng Werter normal sin oder net. Wann een een Test mecht, w.e.g. obbpassen dass 802.11g+n (oder b+g+n) mat 300 Mib/s an WPA2 selektéiert ass. W.e.g. och den Router Modell mat ugin.

Am Beschten hellt een d'Windows Programm iperf (attached). Et leeft als standalone, also ouni Installatioun. Et schleisst een 1 Computer per Kabel un den Router un an deen aaneren per WLAN. Een Computer muss Server sin an deen aaneren Client (wellechen Server oder Client ass ass egal). Et start een iperf iwert d'Console (cmd).

Als Server gesait et esoe aus:

Ech kommen ob max. #40 Mib/s mat optimaler Verbindung (= keng aaner WLAN Geräter an Emgéigend, WLAN Computer no beim Router, ...).

Daat ass Faktor #4 ze wéinech (wann een vun 300 Mib/s den Brutto/Netto Verloscht ob 50% hued) ... !!! :evil:

Mat an ouni Verschlesselung ass quasi dat selwescht.

Den Test ass gemaat gin mat enger FB 7570 an engem Laptop, beid 802.11n 300 Mbit/s.

Hei een Test mat enger FB7570.
802.11b+g+n mat 300 Mbib/s selektéiert an WPA2.

Ech hun den Test lo grad gemaach a kommen op en ähnlecht Resultat.
Equipment: FP7390, PC connected via LAN, Laptop via WLAN.
Settings: 2.4 GHz, 802.11n, WPA2.

Interval: 0-10 sec
Transfer: 32.2 MBytes
Bandwidth: 27.0 Mbits/sec

Wor den OOfstand WLAN Client & FB7390 kleng? Keng Ostacles?
Woren aaner 2.4 GHz Geräter zum Testzeitpunkt an Betrieb?
Wor 300 Mib/s ob deenen 2 Saiten aktivéiert?
Wees du nach waat d'FB7390 als Connectioun zum WLAN Client ugewisen hued (81, 108, 162, 216, 270, 300)?

Ech hun am Moment een Ticket bei AVM. Sie probéiren den problem ze simuléiren.
