Contact sync PC software

Hi.
Is there any dedicated PC software which is able to edit Contacts on iPhone/iPad?
iTunes offers Outlook, which isn't really that sophisticated. I didn't test out compatibility yet, but I'm pretty sure that not all iPhone/iPad fields are properly handled by Outlook.
Any ideas?
